Balanced nutrition, portion control and fresh ingredients — not a medical diet and not a religious rule. Menus that leave guests alert, not heavy, for wellness days, retreats, seminars and lighter weddings.
Seven things working together, not one swap
Healthy is not diabetic-friendly, low-sodium or halal. Those sit alongside this menu if guests need them. This page is general wellness: lighter, fresher, still satisfying.
Balanced plates
Vegetables, protein, whole grains and healthy fats in a deliberate ratio — not starch with a small side of everything else.
Vegetables that keep colour
Steamed, roasted or lightly sautéed. Not boiled into a grey mass.
Lean proteins
Grilled chicken, fish, legumes and lean beef. Minimal oil. No heavy cream sauces.
Whole grains
Brown rice, whole wheat chapati, quinoa where it fits, millet and sorghum for slower energy.
Fresh, close to service
Produce and protein sourced around Athi River and Nairobi, prepared close to the event.
Portions that work
Satisfied, not overfull — especially for seated lunches that go straight back into a meeting.
Flavour comes from herbs, citrus, garlic, ginger and spice, not salt and oil. Lighter cooking means grilling, steaming, roasting and light sautéing instead of deep frying, cream, excess salt and sugar.
Food that does not fight the afternoon agenda
A heavy, oily, refined-starch lunch spikes and drops energy. A balanced plate supports concentration through training and workshops. Catering is the wellness touchpoint every employee actually eats.
Wellness programmes
HR and wellness weeks, screening days and challenges. Food that matches the message instead of fried snacks and sugary drinks.
Fitness and sports days
Lean protein, complex carbohydrates and hydration or electrolyte stations — not a heavy buffet after a run.
Seminars and boardrooms
All-day sessions and half-day workshops. Repeat trainers often standardise on this lunch because rooms stay alert.
Retreats, garden weddings and mixed needs
Health-conscious weddings
Daytime garden and intimate celebrations. Small plates or stations of grilled proteins, salads and light sides instead of one heavy main.
Multi-day retreats
Leadership, team-building or yoga. Texture, colour and method rotate across breakfast, lunch and dinner so three days never feel the same.

Healthy meal catering FAQs
Is this the same as diabetic-friendly catering?
No. This is general wellness for a broad audience. Diabetic-friendly catering manages sugar and carbohydrate for guests with diabetes. Tell us separately if both are needed.
Can you still serve ugali, pilau or nyama choma?
Yes, when portioned and balanced with vegetables and lean protein. Millet ugali is often used as a whole-grain alternative.
How far in advance should we book in Nairobi?
Corporate and seminars: two to three weeks. Retreats and weddings: four to six weeks for tasting.
Do you do healthy buffets for large groups?
Yes, from about fifty guests, with station-based service so portions stay visible.
Can you handle allergies on a healthy menu?
Yes. Share allergies at booking so ingredients and prep can be adjusted alongside the general structure.
Does it work for a small office lunch?
Yes. From about ten guests in a boardroom through to several hundred at a seminar.
