Pricing depends on the menu package, guest count and location of the venue. The Classic Kenyan Buffet is priced on a sliding per person scale that improves with guest numbers, while Continental and Fusion packages add 25 to 40% to food costs. AGM catering costs approximately KES 1,000 to 1,300 per person for a full Classic Kenyan Buffet including morning tea, lunch and afternoon refreshments. The per person cost decreases at higher guest counts, from around KES 1,267 per person at 30 guests to around KES 1,013 per person at 200 guests. Premium Continental packages start from KES 1,500 to 2,000 per person.
How far in advance should I book AGM catering?
We recommend booking at least three to four weeks in advance, especially for large AGMs of 100 or more guests. Last minute bookings of less than one week may attract a 15% urgency surcharge.
Can Hauchi Kay cater for an AGM outside Nairobi?
Yes. We provide AGM catering across Kenya including Mombasa, Nakuru, Kisumu, Eldoret, Thika and upcountry venues. Logistics costs apply for events more than 50 kilometres from Nairobi.
Do you provide halal AGM catering?
Yes. All our meat is sourced from certified halal suppliers, and we routinely accommodate halal, vegetarian, vegan, diabetic friendly and gluten free requirements within the same event.
What is included in the AGM catering quote?
Our standard quotes include food and beverages, cooking fuel, serving staff, chafing dishes and service ware, crockery, cutlery, buffet table covers and skirting, and full post event cleanup. Décor, bar services and branded items are optional add-ons quoted separately.
Do you provide chairs and tables?
We provide all food service equipment. For furniture rental such as chairs, tables and tents, we can recommend trusted partners or arrange this as part of a full event coordination package.
