We arrive equipped. Settle the balance at least 72 hours before the event.
Dates are only held after deposit
A minimum 50% non-refundable booking deposit and written confirmation secure your event date. We do not hold dates on verbal requests.
Client policies
Special policies. Read before you engage.
These policies protect both our clients and our business, keep service standards high, and keep every engagement transparent. All clients are required to read, understand and adhere to them without exception.
1. Booking and reservation
Engagements are confirmed with a signed agreement and a minimum 50% non-refundable deposit. Failure to pay the deposit means your date is not secured.
2. Payment policy
The outstanding balance is due no later than 72 hours before the event. Outstanding balances on event day result in service cancellation without refund of deposit.
3. Cancellation and refund
Cancel in writing to support@eventscatering.co.ke. 14+ days: deposit only. 7 to 13 days: 75% of the quote. Within 72 hours: full forfeiture. Deposits are strictly non-refundable.
4. Menu and headcount
Final menu and guest numbers are due 5 business days before the event. Late increases attract a surcharge. Late reductions do not reduce the quoted price.
5. Conduct and respect
Zero tolerance for abuse, intimidation or harassment of staff. Abusive conduct results in immediate withdrawal of services with no refund.
6. Venue access and setup
Unrestricted venue access is required at least 3 hours before start time. Delayed access is the client’s liability, not ours.
7. Dietary and allergen disclosure
Disclose allergies and dietary needs in writing at least 7 business days before the event. Undisclosed allergens remain the client’s responsibility.
8. Photography policy
We may photograph food, setups and events for marketing unless you object in writing at booking. Photos remain our intellectual property.
9. Dispute resolution
Submit disputes in writing to support@eventscatering.co.ke within 48 hours of the event. Social media and informal channels are not accepted.
10. Force majeure
We are not liable for delay caused by disasters, restrictions, unrest or sudden supply failures. We will communicate promptly and seek alternatives.
11. Food safety and hygiene
We operate under KEBS and the Public Health Act. Certified handlers, cold chain control, and the right to stop service if a venue is unsafe.
12. Terms of agreement
Booking, deposit or written confirmation means you accept all terms. Written agreements prevail. Liability does not exceed fees paid for that engagement.
